Holland Forsythe is a recent graduate from Virginia Tech and currently interns at Argonne National Laboratory.

Holland Forsythe is a passionate advocate for interdisciplinary innovation and ethical impact. Graduating summa cum laude from Virginia Tech in May 2024 with a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Sociology, she obtained a 3.96 GPA and ranked #1 in her major, placing her among the top 5% of over 9,500 students in her graduating class.

Currently, Holland is interning with the Communications and Public Affairs Protocol and Events Team at Argonne National Laboratory. Here, she orchestrates logistics for high-profile visits and supports major events and scientific conferences. Her exceptional organizational skills and dedication have earned her an Argonne Core Values Shoutout for her pivotal role in an event highlighting the economic and environmental impacts of electric vehicle (EV) travel.

At Virginia Tech, Holland served as the Equity in Mobility Manager and Technical Writer for the Hokie Electric Vehicle Team (HEVT) in the EcoCAR EV Challenge. She spearheaded efforts to integrate accessible and sustainable vehicle design, leading a diverse team of over 60 automotive engineers. Her ability to bridge the gap between technical innovation and community needs was showcased through her collaboration with local organizations and her delivery of workforce development workshops on leadership, technical communication, and DEIA for STEM students.

With over six years of expertise in interdisciplinary content development, delivery, and analysis, Holland has specialized in STEM environments. She possesses a diverse communication foundation, including editorial leadership, crafting deliverables for scientific competitions, and technical writing for the United States Government and National Laboratories. Demonstrating skill in clear and impactful communication through both written and verbal presentations, Holland excels at working independently and responsibly on confidential assignments. Her advanced interpersonal and organizational skills enable her to foster relationships and build stakeholder consensus on challenging topics.
